Why Having Health Insurance is So Imperative
Currently President Obama has been attempting to change the way health care is done in the United States . He is however, against a lot of opposition in his plan that the government should provide health care for all Americans . No matter what your stance is on President Obama’s health care plan, we all understand that it is better to have Maryland health insurance than not and those people that have Maryland medical insurance tend to live longer and prevent illnesses earlier than those people without it.
This article will discuss why it is so imperative to have health insurance in this nation and why employers should do everythingall that they can to give that benefit to all of their full time employees even if the expense is high . If businesses offered health insurance to all of their full time employees it would help them long term because their employees would consistently receive checkups in addition to visit the doctor when they are ill which would reduce the time missing work because they would get help sooner and therefore get better sooner.
Statistics show that those without health insurance do not have their health checked on a regular basis and therefore are at an increased risk of having a medical problem that could have been prevented happen later on . The high cost of visiting a doctor office is why many folks without insurance do not visit the doctor and this is a thing that should be changed as well . Costs of health insurance in addition to the expense of having medical insurance all need to be made less expensive for citizens so they will take better care of their health .
Another worry is that women without health insurance that are pregnant do not get the prenatal care that is imperative for their babies. There are several tests that are administered during prenatal visits to determine if the baby is progressing normally and may have any problems or defects that can be seen while in utero . If an expectingexpectant mother does not visit the doctor during her pregnancy she not only is putting her own health in jeopardy but the health of her unborn baby too . If she had insurance she could have her regular doctors appointments by just paying a small co-pay and get the necessary medical attention that she and her baby should get .
If health care was made to be more affordable it would actually end up costing taxpayers less long term due to the expense of having to pay for an uninsured patients health care is so expensive . For example if someone with a high risk of heart disease had help and medicine he would have needed from being able to afford going to the doctor then the possibility of having a heart attack and the surgeries needed may be avoided which would ultimately save money from preventing the more costly medical care. All Americans should be able to receive the medical help they deserve.
