Great for a second baby so that you can bathe two kids together!

Reviewer: SB_mom,
I used a regular infant tub for my first baby, which was fine. But not long after my second baby was born, I wanted to be able to bathe both my kids together in one bath for efficiency. For the first few weeks I didn't use this, but I think once my newborn was around 3-4 weeks old, I started using it. Like many other reviewers, at first I used it with a hand towel in there for comfort. I definitely needed to keep a close eye on the baby when she was young to make sure she didn't slip in it, but importantly I didn't have to keep my hands on her at all times so I was able to wash my older daughter's hair while the baby was in the tub too. I"m still using it and my baby is 9 months old! Sometimes she tries to sit up in it when she's reaching for a toy, but mostly it still works great, and I like using it still because although she's a steady sitter, I think her older sister might knock her over fairly frequently if I had her sitting up on her own. Great, simple, inexpensive product!
AMAZING- MUST HAVE

Reviewer: Mama,
This is the best bathtub I have used, my baby has been safe and secure from the beginning and it fits perfectly in the kitchen sink :) I also have used it in bathtub to take a bath with him. I put a towel down on it to make it nicer for my son to lay on. JUST GET IT ;) Its perfect.
Excellent helper to bath an infant!

Love this bath seat! I have been using this daily for my newborn since he was a few weeks old and he is over three months old now. I use it 2 ways: 1) I put this on the bathroom counter next to the sink when I want to wipe his face or give him a quick wipe down and 2) I use this in our regular bathtub when I give him a bath. The slightly angled seat is perfect to support the baby's back/head. The seat design allows me to reach to the back of his neck to wipe the hard-to-reach parts. The sloping seat also enables me to shampoo his hair and give him a bath without another pair of hands to help. The suction cup at the bottom ensures that the seat doesn't budget from either the counter or the big bathtub. My baby feel secure and makes bathtime an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this any parents!
Not necessarily a great fit

Too unsteady in my oval bathroom sinks -- the nice suction cup bottoms couldn't touch the base of the sink. Too long for my wide metal kitchen sink, even diagonally (baby's feet would bang against the metal sides). And no good means to get a small infant to be secure at the base and still be protected at the head and neck -- Note that all the photos have babies in the later range -- 3+ months. This is just not a good infant tub for young (0-3 mo) infants.
Safe and secure

I bought for my little boy because I wanted to be able to give him a bath in the regular tub so he would be used it. I put a small towel he sits on it makes it a little comfortable and we can both focus on enjoying his time in the tub. I've used this as early as when he was 2 weeks old, he is now 4 1/2 months and I still use it. He's able to splash around without sliding out of it and he's at a comfortable angle. Once he's able to sit up on his own I'll probably use something else for his bath, but this seat has been a real life saver. I especially like the suction cups that keep it in place in the tub and the fact it's really easy to clean.
