I like to consider myself an educated consumer. There were enough comments in the reviews I read on this bench that I should have gotten a hint that there was an issue with the overall height...duh...imagine my surprise when I tried to extend the legs on this bench...first of all--you need the jaws of life to get the buttons pushed in so that you can adjust the legs...and when you do they just arent that much longer than they were to start with...seat is much smaller than my old one (max weight on that one was 300lbs). On the positive side==this bench is very stable and very well reinforced but if getting on and off is an issue please pay attention to the height issue.

Product met all needs and gave support needed. In looking back on product purchase I should have included the back on unit; it would have improved stability. Product function still met my need.

I was looking for a tub chair, and came across this bariatric chair.
The price is fantastic for a bariatric chair.
I chose this because a bariatric chair is probably built better than a regular chair, and the price on this cannot be beat! Even though amazon has the list price under $50, my local discount medical supply shop couldnt come anywhere close to this price (they had a price of about $120)
