Commode completes humanure project

My wife & I needed a light-weight, portable commode with removable bucket in order disengage from the city sewer system, dumping our feces & urine into a backyard thermophilic compost pile. (We use sawdust & grass clippings to cover the deposit into the bucket after each use before taking the bucket out every three or four days; no unpleasant odor results with this method.) This product has been an inexpensive, suitable substitute for the toilet. (Why do each of us soil hundreds of gallons of purified water every month, flushing a valuable resource into the sewer system when millions of people across the planet have no access to potable water?) I replaced the smaller bucket accompanying the commode with a five-gallon bucket. Cleaning is easy with a garden hose.

This commode is just what we wanted for my mom. It's a smooth plastic, and the grips on the handle bar are a good feature for assisting in support for getting up and down. We're very happy with it.

This bedside commode toilet seat chair was fantastic for the needs of my elderly mother. She was able to use it in her room without having to walk down the hall to the bathroom. The support of the hand rails was good as was the ease of cleaning out the toilet. I would recommend this for any person who has difficulty moving about.

My elderly mom is quite happy with this commode. It was easy to assemble, is quite stable, and looks nice. It's comfortable and easy to use. My mom is able to move it around her room without much difficulty. It arrived more quickly than what the shipping notice indicated in the email I received from Amazon. It was more than what my mom and I expected. We are very pleased.

Based on other reviews, I purchased this commode for my aging mom.
For someone with a relatively fragile hip, along with, a bad knee, this will be a big relief to her. It will also help cut back on the use of diapers.
She is yet to recieve, and try it (it was shipped to a distant land).
